We regret to inform that we are forced to suspend the organization of next year’s European Rover Challenge edition. For the past several months we fought for the settlement of this year’s event, based on the contract with our main Partner.
Unfortunately, we were faced with the reduction of the dotation owed to us, which makes it impossible to start preparing for the next edition. As you can imagine, the project of this magnitude requires the involvement of many people who are preparing this event through the whole year and whose work must be rewarded. At the moment the Foundation, which is a non-profit organization, does not have any founds which would run for future edition.
We do not stop thinking about the future of the project and we hope that the European Rover Challenge will return in 2018 to the map the biggest space-robotics event.
